"Snow" much fun!

The party theme I am going to highlight this week is one that can be used for a variety of parties. It could be used as a birthday party for kids or adults, a baby shower for those who will be born in winter, and a bridal shower for those getting married in winter. Let's discover what it would mean for me to plan a "Snow" much fun winter wonderland party!

First off, decor ideas. Again, all these pictures come from Pinterest, but it's where I would get my inspiration and I would then make it my own. Put down a tablecloth of any color on a table, put some soft white lights all over the table, and then hang a sheer white tablecloth over it to create a lighted snowflake table. You can put glittery ornaments and snowflakes with some fake snow (or Epsom salt) in small plastic or glass vases for centerpieces or just to put on a table for decor. I saw a cute idea where you can take puzzle pieces, glue them together into the shape of a snowflake, and then spray paint whatever color you want. You could hand these out as party favors or just use them as decor. If your child is having a "Frozen" themed birthday party, you can throw in a castle for Elsa's ice castle in the decor.
Next, come some food ideas. You could do a snowflake cupcake cake like the one pictured above (isn't it adorable?) in any color you want. It could be Frozen themed or just a regular snowflake cake for a winter party. Another option is to make cupcakes with white chocolate snowflake toppers like the ones pictured to the far right above. You could use any color combination you wanted. Another fun food idea is to make white chocolate winter wonderland popcorn. This is super easy and can be offered as party food or given as a party favor with a cute tag that says "Thanks for popping in- hope you had snow much fun!" You make this simply by popping all natural no butter popcorn and then drizzling with melted white chocolate (which you can color with food coloring) and then you can top it with sprinkles. How easy and fun is that?!

Pictured above are some activities your guest could do at your party or just something you could make for decor/ to give out as party favors. The beaded snowflakes are made with sparkly pipe cleaners (which you can usually find at the Dollar Tree) and some different colored faceted beads. The snow globe balloons are also super cute and are made with plastic cups for the stands (you can spray paint these) and white balloons with fake snow inside them. I would probably add some glitter and sequins to it.

Those are just some of the ideas I have for a winter wonderland party. Like I mentioned before, it can be used for a variety of parties and if this is something you are interested in please contact me. It would be "snow" much fun for me to plan you a winter wonderland party!!
